Matchbox Twenty released a new single called “Wild Dogs Running In A Slow Dream,” their first in over a decade. At the same time they announced a new album in the works titled, Where The Light Goes, it will be out on May 26.

The band featuring Rob ThomasBrian YalePaul Doucette, and Kyle Cook will be kicking off a North American tour as well. Between May and August, they’ll make over 50 stops in cities such as Vancouver, Chicago, Phoenix, West Palm Beach, Nashville, and Dallas.

The outing is the band’s first since 2017’s A Brief History of Everything Tour which marked the 20th anniversary of their Diamond-certified debut album Yourself or Someone Like You.

Matt Nathanson and Ben Rector are set as opening acts.
